Hello, and welcome to my blog! I am aware that many people scour the Internet, searching for quick tips about many of life’s problems. As a Chiropractor, with over thirty years experience, I can tell you that this quest to find the easy answer has been going on way before the World Wide Web. Patients would come to my office complaining of back and neck problems and within a few minutes of conversing I could easily tell that their physical pain was caused by stress. I am sure they knew it too but they thought, ‘if I could just get this adjustment, this quick fix, I can be happy again and do not have to make any major life changes.’
I knew there were no quick fixes. There was only so much I could do to relieve the pain, but in order for the patient to feel completely better he or she must choose to think differently. Some of my patients did change their bad habits or destructive thought patterns and never returned, and other patients continued down the road of habitual stress and became by best customers! But they all taught me something. Now in my older age, I would like to share that knowledge because I think my experiences can help motivate people to take back their life again.
As with my work as a Chiropractor, I know this blog cannot honestly provide you with any quick fixes. What I can tell you though is that the path to a happier and healthier life is a lot simpler than you think! It starts with believing in yourself and controlling your own thoughts. When you control your mind, and not let it be manipulated by fear or social pressure, you can set your own goals, stick to them, and accomplish them.
I do not only speak from patient experiences, but from my own as well. I have overcome numerous obstacles during my life and I did it by setting goals and negotiating with myself to only accept happiness. This blog will share all of my stories and tips I have learned along the way. My hope is to inspire you, challenge you, and maybe even make you laugh and cry. But, most of all, I want to show you how you can achieve your dreams, whether they be physical, mental or spiritual.
As you learn about me, and use my anecdotes to your benefit I hope to also learn about you. No one is ever finished learning, and I consider the Internet a new frontier for myself. If you can provide any additional insight to my tips or if you have any questions on how to overcome something that is holding you back please don’t hesitate to join the conversation!
