In most school districts around Long Island, the first week in Sept. marks the first day of the school year. I would venture to say that most kids are excited and sad at the same time that they are going back to school.
As a former college professor, I can tell you, that your school years could be the best or the worst years of your life. It is all based on perception. If you do the same old thing in the same old way you will get the same old results. On the other hand, if you do something new, the chances are that you will get a new and different result. Might I suggest that all of us try to change our perception of what we do and also how we do it. This short, little, subtle change will make a marked difference in the results.
The human mind is directional in nature. You think of something, and your mind goes about figuring out how to achieve it. The really cool thing about our minds is that given the choice between a positive or negative situation, the human mind will ALWAYS choose the positive. Why not give your mind a chance to shine and change some of that “stinkin thinking” as Zig Ziegler would say. Therefore, change your thinking and reap the benefits of the new and improved you.
